They are gradually moving to a newer interface. However, the old interface is still prevalent and is chaotic mess and disgusting to download. For some reason developers believe in no documentation. Everyone always wants to help each other out and get things done. People are extremely friendly and knowledgeable on what they do. The benefits are incredible and those alone make it worth working there. The offices are pristine. They buy you fancy lunch every day. There are frequent parties and happy hours that are fun. However, you do have to start work around 7 or 8am and you do have to work on Saturdays sometimes for software releases. The cohesion of a team is the most important aspect of a manager and team leader. Assessing goals and priorities, and delegating based on team goals the best practices. And recognizing teams strengths and weaknesses and navigating through them. That's a main part of the job. When done well, it is a win-win, the team feels accomplished, the stakeholders are satisfied. That's the best feeling. Also, feeling that your team knows they can count on you, and you can count on them to get it done as a team. That's what I want ultimately.
