nasdaq:mlab https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=4943 Apr 12th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Mesa Laboratories Lakewood, CO Great place to work In the wake of recent organizational reforms, Mesa has transformed into a vibrant and conducive environment for professional endeavors. While challenges persist, the backing from all tiers of Mesa's leadership fosters a culture of support and camaraderie. This ethos is palpable in the everyday exchanges, underscored by a genuine commitment to nurturing individual career trajectories. At Mesa, the adage holds true: the investment of effort yields manifold returns, enriching both the organization and its members. The upper echelons of leadership seem distant, making rare appearances perhaps once or twice annually. Decisions emanating from this stratum often appear isolated, lacking consideration for their implications on the workforce or the rationale behind them. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 3.0 4.0 3.0 4943 Open Continue fostering inspirational transformations and promoting a positive influence, while prioritizing employee development and cultivating strong relationships. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 4.0 Open Apr 17th, 2024 03:47PM Apr 17th, 2024 03:47PM Mesa Laboratories Industrials Electronic & Electrical Equipment

nasdaq:mlab https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=4943 Dec 7th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Mesa Laboratories Lakewood, CO Company is in deep trouble - AVOID The team I worked with was very talented and worked extremely hard. Being fully remote is a big plus since I was able to have a better work-life balance. PTO accrual was also nice, was able to take lots of time off for my yearly vacation as well as other days needed for vet visits, family and etc. Direct hire process was very smooth. Mesa upper manage is completely delusional. Our last Town Hall showed that we have almost 20% turnover. I have NEVER seen turnover so high however, I know this is because of toxic, cliquey management and they refuse to acknowledge it (average employment is less than 2 years). From other employees I spoke with there that had been there longer than 3-4 years stated that this has been a pervasive issue ever since 2020. I still have little to no idea what in the world the "Mesa Way" is however we were expected to incorporate it into quarterly/yearly reviews which for our department was almost impossible. Customer Service could be VERY hostile at times, almost to the point where you would avoid working with them and just handle whatever you could on your own rather than get a condescending email. They would be reported but little or nothing came from it from what I saw/heard. CFO and CEO are constantly buying and trading stocks for millions (go check, it's public record and it'll make you mad). They got millions in raises this year while the rest of us got as little as $.03 (I WISH I WAS KIDDING, I've never been offered less than a 7% raise and I've been in my field for 10 years) and they told us to be "grateful" that we even got bonuses. Mesa is so worried about what the shareholders want that they could not care less about anyone below them. They spent god knows how much money on an updated facility that looks like garbage instead of giving people decent raises so we can afford basic necessities. Talented people are overworked and expected to be able to handle absolutely anything and the tiniest mess ups are put on blast. You will be kept at the same position you started at for as long as possible so they don't have to pay you more but continue to give you more and more responsibilities. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 4.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 4943 Open You can hold as many meetings as you want but if you get your surveys back and you don't like the result each time, maybe make some actual change and stop talking down to us. Remove managers that have multiple reports on them in regards to treating their team like crap and you will see a SERIOUS decrease in turnover. Give actual raises that you original promised when we were hired instead of just the first year and be open, honest, and communicative about realistic expectations. The bar is so low and yet you are still trying to play limbo. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Open Jan 16th, 2024 03:11PM Jan 16th, 2024 03:11PM Mesa Laboratories Industrials Electronic & Electrical Equipment
