I like working at Mannkind because it offers lots of opportunities. I am always greeted with a smile from everybody I see as soon as I walk in the building.

working night shift, you hear about all the parties, food trucks, etc that the morning shift get to enjoy, but night shift doesn't get any of that. Maybe a little party once or twice a year but that's it

I feel valued for my knowledge and effort
Management takes time to recognize the effort
Compensation is given in many different forms, with a motivation to keep great talent.

The company had a wave of layoffs a few years back. It is doing really well now and some of those laid off have returned. I do feel my job and the company is stable.

Inhaled insulin is great for the niche population that has the patience to deal with a mismanaged launch in a tough industry that doesn’t have time for patients across the board.

When you look at the HR respond to opinions of an employees with a negative experience:
“we are proud to mention that we have recently been certified as a Great Place to Work, along with being recognized on Comparably for Best CEO, and Best Leadership – these surveys are by the voice of OUR people, and we conduct these every quarter to ensure we address our people’s needs promptly.”

In reality, the sales force has been lucky to get a rankings report more than once a quarter. In reality they decided to lay off 30% of the sales force during the first week of January 2024. Not the first time a company has done this, I understand. Now most times we all feel these layoffs are generally attitude/performance related…however based off the most recent rankings report provided to the team without any information from Q4, there were plenty of people let go that were not low rankings territories. It’s never easy for anyone, but this is an example of how your surveys really don’t match the reality - Mannkind this is not just one persons opinion or experience in 2023,2024.

Such a toxic culture that whatever has been promised cannot actually be delivered because the person in charge of supporting tasks will be gone within a few months. Place is an absolute joke of a Salesforce. Team is filled with great people, with upper management leaving the whole salesforce dumbfounded weekly.
Accountability is a two way street, is high turnover in your annual performance review?
Place is filled with manipulation from the top.
