Don’t let it fool you. Same poor pay structure, poor benefits, and lackluster management. They did remodel some of the showrooms, about time! But there is nothing positive about working here, it’s a crummy place that reeks of the stereotype of a grease monkey rip you off auto repair shop. Pro. Hmmm...eventually your shift ends. Some managers for region or something. Told me they were in a for-profit business after I told them I'm not into up selling the customer and want to only fix what needs to be fixed. Their attitude changed and from previous reviews I can see this is the "fast food" of the automotive industry, so why work there? Told me pay was performance based, meaning you get a minimum $$ amount per hour but if you don't meet productivity goals - you are terminated. But how do you meet productivity if there are no cars or business? And their benefits are deducted from your pay. nasdaq:mnro https://www.indeed.com/cmp/the-tire-choice/reviews Sep 9th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open Open Tire Choice Auto Service Centers Gst Valrico, FL USA Horrible This job is horrible the pay is horrible they don’t promote from within they hire new people you only received pay cuts and no raises if you don’t get hired at a good rate you’ll never see more pay unless you leave and find a better place they will offer more money if you quit and refuse to come back after they call if they liked your numbers but that’s the only way you get a raise no merit raise no merit bonus corporate fails to pay employees on time on multiple occasions so have fun guessing when your pay checks coming it’s worse if you have early pay check with your direct deposit the managers are shady and cut corners only care about keeping their numbers up and corporate loves cheap labor they try to start you low and promise you the world if you bust your but and show them profit till after you do it for a year and realize your doing everything a master tech should be getting payed to do for basically nothing don’t waste your time here this company is a joke they expect you to do 15 a hour work for min wage and swamp you with cars they expect done in 30 mins every day could be your last if you don’t make managers happy they move you to other shops till you quit to avoid unemployment managers don’t always pay right labor if your on flat rate so watch your hours better yet save yourself the head ache and stress don’t even apply here No drug test (only to keep up the cheap labor though) Management, corporate, late pay checks, no raises 0.0 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 Jan 13th, 2021 09:42AM Mar 19th, 2021 08:03PM Monro Muffler Brake Consumer Services General Retailers

Manager in training. Was on a decent salary. After that it was $15 an hour plus a commission but every time you were going to get a commission, there was always excuse. I was told I would be getting a $2,000 commission by the district manager. All I got was $400 and a lame excuse. They rip off customers in pricing and sell them repairs they don't need. Charge $110 for a brake rotor that costs them less than $10! Brake pads are $99 but cost them $3.95! Really no pros They dont care about their employees.
