I had only worked there for about a year, but I enjoyed what I had learned while there. The production manager worked hard and helped me often. I liked talking to him and treated me great. He definitely seemed busy almost all the time. I think was was in charge of much of the business. Safety and shipping manager we was also and probably not paid enough lol. The quality manager is isn't a people person at all. Actually causes more waces than anything else. A guy Eric visits frequently and can be nice but furthermore can be a terrible person. Very rude and close. Close to harassment. Office manager is terrible as well. Working hours treated well some good people work there. The Brentwood team has a great culture and terrific environment for someone learning the ropes of Supply Chain. They are seasoned with knowledge and experience. Be prepared for the fact that if you don't know anything about the company or have experience with the software they use for purchasing, your employment will be terminated. Also be aware that there is no training program offered, just the other office workers coming to see you and "train" you. Management is overbearing. There are too many heads pulling in different directions and nobody can seem to make an official decision without doing 2 weeks of paperwork. Compensation was below market value, health benefits and 401K package somewhat made up for it. If you can deal with incompetent management, lack of training and accountability, and the knowledge that you can and will be let go for not having knowledge of their process for an entry level job, go ahead and enjoy yourself. Worked just under 90 days. Training was terrible. If they had SOPs for each task, they were not written, never fully communicated, and if you asked questions you got an attitude or snarky and sarcastic response. Supervisor was self absorbed and petty. Heard her several times on her extension gossiping with other employees, speaking negatively about coworkers. Everyone gets cc'd on emails and she would get argumentative with other departments. Cliquey work environment. There were very nice people working there but this Supervisor was not one of them. Free lunch Fridays, celebrate birthdays, great benefits, decent company.
