(MARLIN IS NOW PEAC SOLUTIONS) As soon as I was hired the company (Marlin) was purchased by PEAC Solutions. The HR lady that helped hire me left in my first week. I was heavily recruited (very aggressively) after leadership saw I left my last company only to run into a brick wall when I started. There was a brutal two week training program where senior level sales people and entry level reps were all together covering the same material. I’ve been in sales for 15 years and the training was more geared towards Sales 101 / entry level stuff. After the extensive entry level training, we were hit with more training for another 2-3 weeks. They wanted me to use a script!! Hadn’t seen a script in years!! Meetings starting as early as 8:30 AM were plastered across my calendar over and over again. There’s not many sales people (or team leads) that have been with the company for more than a year or two. Two years internally is a big background with this company. They have some serious challenges with basic day to day things like bad/old data/info in Salesforce with no intention on correcting it, inbound opportunities not being distributed evenly or fairly, team leads not being able to answer questions regarding processes, and a constant headache on trying to get answers/support. Senior leadership is pretty much set in their own way. False information is portrayed daily, inaccurate reporting, and unrealistic expectations are being set. The salary pay is low-tiered with no commission in sight. Even if you get commission it’s little to none. As a sales person I can’t live off a small salary and there were no efforts to offer a ramp plan or salary support. Most of the less experienced are outperforming the more experienced. Head scratching! There is no logical way of structure. Not much real sales experience is here. I was fired after questioning a few confusing data points in Salesforce. The HR manager called thereafter and asked why I was fired. That tells it all. Not many people are on the same page. I still don’t know the reason why I was fired. It just wasn’t a good fit and my departure was inevitable. This place is broken and they have a long way to go.

-Separate the experienced from the entry level. -Treat experienced employees like they’re valued. -Show some consideration when someone is letting you know about their working experience. -Don’t ignore questions being asked. -Make it make sense. -Enough with the fake, inaccurate, and false reporting and expectations. -Pause your hiring.

the new CEO/CxO folks are buddy buddy and lie. They rah-rah-rah the company for months, talked about billions and growth. Then they fire all of the collections, accounting and customer service employees and outsource them.

high turnover in HR and sales
low raises for folks that we're kept.
promoted a lot of people that did not deserve it.
There were zero talks about actual compensation, bonus or salary increases.
