The people except executive management. The workers are dedicated and committed to their roles.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company was doing exceptionally well, until the dredded decision to make the VP of Engineering with zero Supply Chain experience transfer as the VP of Supply Chain Management. Immediately after that move, all things Purchasing/ Supply Chain related started going downhill and fast. They had a chance to be successful by keeping the correct Supply Chain leaders in the place - the ones who turned the company around 5 years ago. Shameful
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Zero support and poor management. Employees do not feel they can speak to current management about their concerns.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
14 hour days at 5 to 6 days a week.

.Typical day is detail with a lot of attention on kitting and documents control.
For the most part, Personnel should understand Department interface.
Department heads in the shipping/receiving should listen more to the qualified personnel. Had a high turn over of unqualified Supervisors.
Mattson has a diverse culture employment with a lot of different culture. Due to a lot of reasons,
The hardest part of the job at Mattson is that the hiring practice. They seems to think that a general warehouse worker can operate in Shipping/Receiving. With Computers.
The most enjoyable and amazing thing is seeing the interaction between personnel.

On site cafeteria with a great cook and you can't beat the the prices

For most personnel lunch is 30 minutes.

I'm glad everyone else had a good experience. if you work the warehouse get ready to be scapegoat for the company's problems while you and all your coworkers deal with unequal pay, whiny and immature staffing company reps, upper management on you constantly then finding any excuse to fire people.
