Sok változás volt az elmúlt pár évben, lecserélődött a vezetőség, sajnos a színvonal egyre rosszabb. Egymás után mennek el a tehetségesebb emberek, nem nagyon igyekszik a cég, hogy megtartsa őket. A vezetők vagy munkamániásak, vagy túlterheltek/már kiégtek a gyártásban, egyébként a műszakvezetők kifejezetten emberbarát társaság. Mivel a középvezetők folyamatosan túl vannak terhelve, így a lepattanó feladatokat tolják a műszakvezetőkre, akiket így alig látnak az operátorok, mindenki meetingeken ül folyamatosan. A cég juttatásokban nem erős sajnos, az alapfizu gyengének számít a környéken, a juttatási csomag operátoroknak értelmezhetetlen (5-10% kedvezmény, alapból drága helyeken), le van maradva a versenytársakhoz képest (nincs jelenléti, az éves bónusz egy vicc, munkábajárást minimum szinten támogatják), ismerősi körben összehasonlítva itt többet kell dolgozni-kevesebb juttatásért (főleg negyedév végén). Betanított munkásnak megfelelő juttatások, az elvárásokban meg komoly számítógépss ismeretek kellenek.
!? Folyamatosan azt hangoztatják, milyen ügyesek vagyunk, mennyi millió dollár árbevétel sikerült egy negyedévben, de valahogy ez a béreken nem látszik. Egy iszonyat húzós zárás után nemhogy bónusz nincs, de örülj ha az ételmérgezést elkerülheted a kajáldában(!) és rendelnek neked egy pizzát valahonnan!

Great Learning Experience through Internship

The tasks during the internship were created with a focus to not just profit the company but also it gave me a scope for exploring and learning. Every suggestion given would be taken into consideration without any discrimination. This is the absolute worst company ever to work for.

Constantly harassed and belittled by the management team. Managers hired through the buddy system with no experience required in that department sphere. I learned how to be a good manager based off all the terrible examples I had surrounding me. The hardest part of the job was walking in everyday. The most enjoyable part of the job was going home on a Friday.

The AE organization under "new leadership" is screwed up. No wonder a lot of good engineers left. The R&D "leaders" are myopic and have no vision about how to influence the industry. NI heavily underpays people. Only sign on RSUs. No concept of reupping RSUs for regular engineers. Annual bonus is peanuts. I got like $500. Buddy system at best. The Transportation BU and portfolio BUs are worst. Before you join, think about the opportunity cost. One can make a lot of money staying in Austin, just not this company. I left this company and am so happy now..

No opportunity and understaffed
|
NI used to really care about each individual employee. Over the last years the culture has changed and is sliding downhill. More things are moving overseas, so little to no opportunity to advancement. Layoffs happen regularly. People are not replaced and everyone is short-staffed. Senior leadership does not understand their own strategy.
