Configuration and deployment Manager Remove Not much positive to say. The company hired me for a project that is basically in total disarray, not following any best practices. Onboarding was non-existent and two weeks into the job I still didn't have the credentials I needed to do my work. After two weeks they then decided they really didn't need my role in the first place and told the agency to terminate me. They did not have the decency to tell me that to my face, and I am a fellow veteran! If I were you I would avoid this company like the plague. Lots of testosterone and fake alpha males who think "loud is right" but not a lot of organizational planning. None. I honestly cannot think of any. Totally disorganized. Sr. Systems Engineer White Sands Missile Range, NM NCI cornerstone of my career The work experience at NCI became the cornerstone for my career. A career built around fundamental concepts and application of technology. I was place in key areas that allowed me to grow in operating systems, process automation, networking, data analysis and system integration. Overall a great experience. Only regret was not holding steadfast to my tenure with NCI. Good working environment, technology based, great leadership, teamwork and accessibility of surrounding knowledge and experience. The government had no regard for the personnel welfare of the contractors. No support from the leadership within the program. NCI is a wonderful company to work for, it's just the program I was in had alot of leadership issues.
