The people are nice for the most part, although promotions are usually given to all employees and you essentially wait your turn (even if some put in little to no effort). It is very hard to move to different departments.

Great company to work for in terms of reputation and experience - an excellent company to have on a resume. That being said, pay is some of the lowest I've ever heard of, job security is not always encouraging, and you won't see changes coming. Promotion/advancement is very by-the-book and time-based. Exceptional performance or achievement is rarely, if ever, met with advancement off-cadence.
