You get daily emails about culture, diversity, and inclusiveness. People treat others like garbage. HR will not do anything about it.
Note to HR- please don't respond that you are sorry your employee didn't have a better experience, you had the opportunity to do better and chose not to.

They only care about numbers and not the staff. It’s an okay place if you want to get a little experience on your resume and get out but I wouldn’t want to stay there for the long haul

Ok some departments are overworked, underpaid, and work life balance is being chipped away
|
They have lot of great initiatives and activities and groups to join which is great, what they do not tell you is you will be way way too busy to ever get to participate. Pay is on lower side, benefits could be better. Holidays stink, you get the major ones but again you are forced to work 2 of the 7 in the year that they give you. They say flexible schedule and work life balance but they keep chipping away at that. Average company. Hopefully new CEO can change things for the better.

Most people i work with are great, some kudos pt system where you earn gift cards
|
Lower pay than UCSD, kaiser, etc., forced overtime, changing schedule, not the best work life balance, no room to move up
|

In my current department the team is divided into cliques, and if you don’t fit into one of those cliques you will experience difficulties furthering your career.
However, that is not true for all departments. The pay is fair, sitting around average for the state, and the benefits are great. I would recommend Neo to anyone overall just beware that you might need to be careful with being “left out” from a certain group.

Fast paced, back to back calls, very stressful and mentally draining. Hardly any reward or recognition. The only good thing are your coworkers. Some of the coworkers are the most knowledgeable, helpful and kind people.
