Negotiate for the best pay possible, because your rate will stay that way for at least a year.
My pay went down when they hired me on full-time, because of a lull in the job market. Advancement is nearly non-existent.

The Okc Coil plant is not where you want to be, save yourself the wasted time and energy by applying elsewhere. They will pull you in with promises of advancement and upcoming raises, "the Pay Matrice", that never materializes, but is always "in progress" or "coming soon". They will gas light you endlessly and act shocked and hurt when you call them out on it. Will lie straight to your face with a smile yet still expect you to come into work every day with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. They will refuse to give anything in writing/email so that you can't hold them accountable and prefer all talks to be held in person because "It's more supportive of a team environment to have face to face talks!". No, it's to limit legal liability by preventing employees from having any record of what was discussed so that management can easily deny ever having said things and later paint you as a disgruntled employee making up lies. If you do decide to work there, set up a voice recorder on your phone and try to conduct talks over your personal cell to keep a record of what was discussed (oklahoma is a one party consent state for phone recordings) or if in person talks are held, type up a follow up review/ email immediately afterwards, detailing exactly what was discussed/promised and ask the parties involved to sign and date the notes for your personal records(they will make up an excuse as to why they can't and then try to shame you for lacking trust in them and "the team", telling you everything you need to know about their "integrity"). Protect yourself, be vigilant. To whomever is reading this, you deserve more than they will ever offer you. Please love and respect yourself by finding a job elsewhere, at a place that will actually value you and lift you up, not crush you down. Best wishes.

Management is poor and structured very poorly also consistently being told one thing and the exact opposite gets done such as they said over time would be few and far in between but have constantly been making us work mandatory overtime every Week
