Natera has some good working environment to work at. People are helpful and supportive. There is often town hall meetings held by upper management to ensure visibility of the company for all staff. Naterans are also active in conducting team building activities and mentorship opportunities for everyone to grow. Work life balance is good but can depend on the department. Lastly, company has proven to be stable in disruptive environment where other companies have undergone massive layoffs.

Extremely poor communication, ZERO clear promotional policy, management is of poor quality, perpetually over-worked and under-paid, like GROSSLY underpaid. Hourly employees are penalized for choosing to work here, salaried employees get whatever they want. Hourly employees are also passive aggressively shamed for not having degrees, or having non-applicable ones. We’ve had our work load effectively tripled with zero increase in pay. They lie to you constantly. The upper management is very corrupt, and they’re very much non-inclusive, nor do they actively care at all about their employees. Steve Chapman, our wonderful CEO, makes over $2 million a year, and refuses to validate that his hourly employees are given an extra $1 to help combat inflation. It’s a catatonic environment filled with anxiety, disrespect, and a generally complacent disposition. Natera wants nothing more than to replace you with an automated robot of a human being, they want drone workers that don’t mind being taken advantage of. If you value your mental health and sanity, DO NOT touch this place with a 100 mile pole.

Y’all owe the employees your lives. You make insinuations and judgments about us asking for raises when you make 3 times what we do. Your behavior is disingenuous and rather repulsive. If you all would realize that this company would go under in less than a day if we all decided to strike, this place would be a lot more bearable. But because of Nateras management, yall have given us plenty of reason to hate Natera, regardless of the amount of “good” the company does, and not many reasons to enjoy working here. Do better.

Great work environment, the people that work there are all competent and friendly. Decent bonuses, decent pay, and doesn't require a ton of experience to get started for the CDO position.

If you work swing shift it's possible that you won't receive your full 8 hours but they have a 15% increase to salary to make up for that.
