Company Lays Off ENTIRE sales force AGAIN.

Product works well. Nice clean office. Cafeteria has good food.

Upper Management is confused on how to sell the new product, Quell. Product works well but company plans to go directly to retail and not gain support from physicians. Looks like company suicide. Also, NueroMetrix laid off the Sales Team again! This is the 2nd time they completely eliminated the sales force. COME ON MANAGEMENT. Give a product launch a chance. STOCK is DIVING DOWN. Investors beware! NeuroMetrix won't be around for long!!!

I found NeuroMetrix while searching for jobs in the Boston area that were dealing with Neurostimulators. I started reading about Quell and instantly became very interested and impressed with the product, as it is a non-invasive, innovative solution for people who suffer from chronic pain. I went through the interview process (which did not take very long) and was offered the position. I can honestly say that even though I had to travel almost an hour to and from work, I really enjoy working for this company. The people who work here are great and very understanding. I had a situation come up where I had to take a week off last minute and I had nothing but support from my co-workers. The office itself is a very nice environment to work in. It is located on a beautiful lake, which is really nice during lunch time. The pay is competitive and there are always ways to achieve bonuses. Everyone in the office is somehow involved with the product and feedback and suggestions are welcome and encouraged. There is also a cafe which serves excellent food and a gym with free membership in the building. I would recommend this company to anyone I know if they are qualified for the position.

As an intern, the best part of working here was being in an environment where I was given autonomy and expected to perform. A lot was expected of me regarding research, but it forced me to live up to the expectations. I grew a lot as an independent professional while here and being immersed in the engineering-heavy environment that I was not used to gave me a great view of a different world of research. Also, the free lunch on Fridays was nice!

None that I saw. As a summer intern I was not as integrated into the company as the engineers and other employees were, but it seemed like most people really got along and enjoyed working there. Most importantly the employees seemed to love what they did and the fact that they are helping people by making their devices.
