Productive and Enjoyable environment

Arrived and company had a lovely break room with Coffee machines for the company. Always tried to improve our meal /snack options. Management was stern but fair. Hardest part of the job was maintaining international agents pleased while trying to explain discrepancies in their payment paperwork. Got to meet Agents from South America when they would come tour the company, was nice to finally meet them in person.

Good pay, Bad managment
|
This job expected a lot from you but wouldn't help you achieve their expectations. There was no formal training just pictures on how to do your job then you were thrown into the work. any time you made a mistake you are written up for it. you are expected to not make any mistakes a month after your training day. other then that fellow employees were nice and the company in general is a good one to work for. Don't expect the management to be understanding.

Don't listen to the butterflies and unicorns review from the HR girl.
IT department is awful. You do not want to work here. They brought in hatchet man to destroy the department, get rid of good workers and cause distress and low morale.
I was fired for doing exactly what I was supposed to. They made up an excuse that I told secrets about IT to other departments. Really, I was transparent and honest about data that was missing and the reason for a delay in reports. They are filthy liars.

Typical work day was high to moderate volume. I learned a lot in 17 years, about wills, trust how to invest, Annuity and Life Insurance. I learned about beneficiaries and more.
Management changed a lot I had some awesome supervisors and I wasn't their favorite supervisors. The hardest part of the job was internal employee conflicts company upper management changes. Some company perks but that changed over the years.
