ORBCOMM is a generally fun environment, but things are very disorganized, and priorities can change hourly....this leads to lots of context switching and general "churn". This is very frustrating for many, but some folks may enjoy it (more of a start-up type environment).

Management was very professional. Wanting you home for weekend if possible for family time. I enjoyed working hard to compensate the facts that when I didn't work I still got paid. They always listen to issues you may have and helped resolved them v/s leaving you on your own. All techs are very helpful and have tremendous patience training and assisting with any or all issues. We would get free bagels with the fixings on Fridays and the leftovers from board meetings. Orbcomm was a great place to work. There was always work to do but with lenience. We were never micro-managed.
