Layoffs and restructuring is how OneSpan evolves
|
Teams operate in silos. Lack of transparency in communication is very evident. Senior Leadership is unable to communicate what functional strategy ( forget overall business strategy). With never-ending layoffs, employees have lost confidence in the leadership team to lead the company. Lack of prioritization in projects is quite evident. Career development is adhoc and arbitrary.

I've worked at OneSpan at a while and there was a period of hope but now things are not going as well. There have been a series of layoffs. Pros: Manager is great; good learning opportunities; Cons: limited growth; budget/forecast problems

Company experiencing growth but disorganization
|
If you are a developer, you will work on a Scrum team with the rituals that are related with that. You might end up suffocated by the following of those rituals without any flexibility - Scrum is interpreted very literally by this company. I would sometimes think that my team was more worried about delivering story points than real value. Their office - when not on quarantine - is very well located downtown. Mostly relaxed environment. Don't expect any promotion or leadership roles when you are not a male Caucasian without an accent: company is only diverse on low hierarchy level roles.
