Company is quick to lay people off

This company likes to say they're community oriented and they're different from the other banks but they're not. They're constantly laying people off but keep hiring offshore workers from 3rd world countries so that they can pay them poorly. They even opened new corporate offices in India. I don't recommend this company to anyone, they don't care about their employees.

Only interested in selling to those who could not afford the product. When you didn't sell, like a home load (adjusted rate mortgage) to a person you know who could not afford it, the management would pull you to the side and reprimand you.

They give their employees hard time with Micro Managing and I work life balance , Their is favoritism and the sales goals are not fair across the company, you are told not to ask questions and ridiculed when you do. Even if you are committed To customer service you will not be appreciated, always asked to do more with less .

My overall experience has so far been good. I am lucky to have a great team and manager who does want to help anyone get to where they want to be. After the pandemic the company did a good job not rushing everyone back in and I think letting us work from home 3 days a week is great. The major downfall to this company is the Pay; after my normal yearly raise (which was nothing 2.5%) I ended up getting another raise of .21 cents an hour...sounds good right well that was because they had to bring people to an acceptable average; meaning with with my normal raise I was being way underpaid and probably still am.
