Not a good place to work or we appreciated

Responded to an ad for oyster bar cook at 1750 an hour, when I got there the job was gone And they had a prep cook position for 1350 an hour. When I got my first check it was less, 13 an hour. Go to find out that ploy was used many times. Management never took responsibility for anything hardly, Always blame someone else. The pros were my coworkers, they were excellent people. The equipment was top notch to. My benefits were also very excellent.

Those who bend over backwards to get the work done and who go above and beyond are penalized where those who do nothing get rewarded. The pay is substandard for the amount of work expected. Security is the lowest paid department.

The building is a cesspool of negative energy. Good and honest people are either treated unfairly and quit. Or they are let go due to grotesque misuse of the policies and procedures. The attendance policy is the most abused policy in the building. They claim it to be a no-fault policy. However if it benefits them, they will not discipline that employee. But when everything is going good for the company and they aren't sbort handed, they will not hesitate to terminate someone. Don't expect much help from your union either. They just collect their dues every pay period.

For the most part it’s a good place to work however very strict rules and regulations.
|
Too many rules; I was wrongfully dismissed for not throwing food out immediately. I was accused of theft even though the food was disposed of in front of supervisor when it was brought to my attention. I was hard working and was unfortunately very stressed that particular shift due to putting my cat down the next day. I would’ve expected a suspension but termination for theft!?! Brutal.

Nice perks/ difficult patrons.

Worked there from around 2004-2012. I very much enjoyed my time spent there (for a duration) as a server. The pay was the best in the area for the time, and there were lots of perks included such as a free lunch buffet included daily. It was a fast paced job that could quite stressful at times. Many of the patrons are impatient, and have coupons that they use. Burnt myself out due to the nature of the surroundings.

Fun staff outings, lunch buffet, seeing famous people, draws for free shows.

Varied shifts, entitled/miserable customers, fighting to get holidays off, working in a window-less environment.

Driving the limo your pay is based on getting tips. Problem is not everyone tips for a 3 hour round trip. Everyone including dispatcher know the good tippers ($100) run and they go to the full time or friends of dispatchers. Also terrible hours
