'Culture' is superficial, awful company
|

If you grew up with leadership or are family of one of them it's great. For everyone else its awful. Ryan and Cam do their best but department heads are often times the problem at least at the Lindon office.
|
Culture of favoritism and discrimination. Management plays favorites constantly and only promotes their friends and family. I've never seen such blatant nepotism before coming here. If you're not one of the favorites you will get longer hours, the worst projects, and no opportunities for advancement no matter how hard you work or what you do. Whereas someone else who is one of the favorites could spend half their day on their phone and they will be the ones who get promoted. They claim their culture is amazing and they care about their employees but its a lie. The only good thing about working here is if you're a relative or a friend of the department heads. But they have continuous turnover for every person who isn't one of those relatives or friends because of these issues. Until they can correct these issues I would say avoid this company at all costs.

Standardize treatment regardless of if they are related or not. Doing so is what avoids discrimination. If you only hire/promote members of management's family it will only be white people and mainly men. Stop discriminating!

Warehouse schedules can be tailored to work with most school schedules, the people are good and very nice overall, warehouse is air conditioned and heated, free soda machine, subsidized vending machine, nice break room. CEOs treat you well regardless of your position.

The pay scale can tend to be lower than some other places. For me the environment makes up for it, but for others it may not.

Profire Energy has honestly been a great experience for my career development and even for my family. The biggest thing I valued at Profire was the work-life balance. The company is really good at giving their employees the flexibility as they need it. I really felt my efforts and contributions where always valued and rewarded at the same time. I had access to a lot of great mentors and they gave me the opportunities to get involved in the things I wanted to learn how to do.

It's very tied to the oil and gas industry, but they are working on diversifying which will help a lot when there are downturns.
