I got to work amazing people. They were extremely knowledgeable in their fields, we got our jobs done, and had lots of laughs along the way. I also got to work on a very interesting and challenging technology while getting promotions due to the great work I was able to do. Yearly reviews are amazingly simple. They focus more on having you reach out to people to give and get feedback during the year. I took vacations and never had any problems taking time off when I needed it. Upper management is open and as honest as they can be about what is happening in the company on a weekly basis.

The occasional layoff (One per 3.5 years during the time I was there) impacted me this time. However, I have no regrets!

Engineering leadership has no intuition for products, roadmap is non-existent and leads to a lot of whiplash and unnecessary firefighting instead of new product development. HR is aggressively callous in supporting the company over employees.

I loved working at this company. I enjoyed the inclusive, friendly and collaborative environment a alot. The salary was good and I enjoyed the work/life balance there.

The only downside was that interns were paid hourly with no PTO, even on July 4th.

Very flexible work life balance. I usually don't go in to the office and work from home.
|
Pay compensation is not great and despite having done very well in the last year I was refused any increase in pay. It is hard to know for sure since I have not had tones of experience elsewhere, but I feel like it is a poorly managed company given the fact that a lot of people are managed and have work delighted by people that are not trained managers.
