Technology is archaic and IT is a joke.
Senior leadership doesn’t care about the boots on the ground they just want to keep the budget low and their bonuses high.
Measly pay for both entry level (~$17 hr) and management (with the work hours required it equals out to roughly $10 hr).
Breaks and lunches are non-existent but they sure will make you take your break and punch out.
Managers are the solution for every call off because they are salary. Double shifts are common. Triple shifts are also common. Don’t expect to have a life outside of work.

Learn to listen to the people actually working on site when they tell you how much staff is actually needed. Working with 2 to 3 associates in an Emergency room is wild when you have two points of entry and the workload that is required for the staff. And don’t get me started on midnights, allowing one associate to work alone is a terrible plan for both associate safety and serving the client.

The job itself is interesting. If you like to be kept busy, literally your entire shift, this is the job for you. You’ll constantly be talking to patients and helping them with the registration link on their phone. The registration process is lengthy, so be aware that the patients rarely want to do it, let alone complete it.
|
The main reason I left was due to favoritism at this location. I understand this issue comes with any job, but the favoritism at this location was another level. My manager, at the time of my employment, would ask employees to tattle on each other. Everyone used this principle as leverage to report ANYTHING that could be used against you. They will send your corrections out to the leaders of every department (even the ones that have nothing to do with you), and by the end of the day every single coworker has heard all the gossip about what was messed up and who’s fault was it. If you have a thick skin, like the fast pace, assertive environment and you can stay out of the company drama, you’ll like this job.
