We only have meetings if they're necessary, so my calendar was not full of meetings like many other companies. Every one of my coworkers were a pleasure to work with. Very helpful and willing to collaborate when needed, and I never felt like I couldn't say something. Very realistic open door policy. Thai Tuesdays are a huge plus. Getting to hang out with the engineering team once a week and eat some really good Thai at the same time is always something I always looked forward to. No micromanaging at all. You are responsible for the work you do, and if you have an idea to improve something, it will be heard. Generous PTO which you are encouraged to take. Management is also very understanding when things in life come up and you need to take off. Several company events sprinkled throughout the year to help keep everyone connected and relaxed. Hybrid work from home policy (at time of writing). 2 days in, 3 out, which is a nice balance. Pay is decently competitive. The only real con is health insurance coverage, and even then it isn't terrible, especially considering all the pros of this position. The people were incredibly kind and receptive to new ideas and approaches from someone who had little experience at the time. This made for a rich, creative environment to get my feet wet in marketing and advertising. Not many cons come to mind. For me, it was simply that it was an internal marketing department, so the pace was at times a bit more moderate or slow.
