Start off with good benefits (generous PTO/sick/personal leave allowance, great medical/dental/vision/life insurance, stock options, bonuses). Culture is nice, and continues to improve. Great business opportunities, current and future projects! New leadership at all levels is very forward looking and working on growth of the company's customer base! Maternity/Paternity leave could use improvement. Some processes/equipment could use investment/updating. Some coworkers are fabulous and the reason some employees stay. The positive reviews are from another site that is no longer the same company. They spend too much time fixing problems instead of getting to the cause to prevent said problems. Senior management is unbelievably disconnected from the reality of what it takes to actually do the jobs, which has lead to unrealistic expectations of employees. Some of the senior leadership have been around since the dawn of time and do not listen to other or progress with the changing environment. There are unconscious/conscious biases by management that have been acknowledged by others higher up, yet nothing is done about it. There is no work/life balance in some departments due to layoffs and people quitting. Which includes getting called while you are on vacation or expected to cancel vacation due to staffing or others not knowing how to do their job. Some management doesn’t acknowledge burn out. While others acknowledge it, but don’t care or can’t do anything because their boss’s head is so far up where the sun doesn’t shine they are oblivious. There is no room for upward movement and they would sooner higher from outside of the company. Good employees that work hard are rewarded with more work and scrutinization. Meanwhile, employees that do the bare minimum and just tow the line are treated like gold. HR is a joke, they will gossip with others about private information. This used to be a decent company to work for, now not so much. They use the fact that some people have been there so long as a highlight. However, those people are stuck in their ways and don’t handle change well. In an environment that is ever changing with new technology that is not a good thing.
