Very lean on infrastructure everywhere so I’ve enjoyed learning much more about end-to-end operations. Compensation and benefits are quite good relative to demands. A very good work-life balance.

Leadership in some areas is weak, comparatively less experienced than past employers in terms of first hand careers in clinical roles, product commercialization strategy/tactics, overall healthcare ecosystem. Leadership offers very little guidance... definitively a place for self-initiators if you want to learn something. Culture is not very progressive or innovative, and some rather unprofessional, sometimes inappropriately sarcastic behavior is openly tolerated. Internal development opportunities are quite limited without clear competencies aligning with promotion opportunities.

Review our overall benefits and make changes, i.e. increase 401 k matching, Education Benefits, and would love to see a work life balance incentive added.
For example many companies offer each employee a lump sum every year that can be applied towards paying for their gym membership, a treadmill for their home, new workout gear, Yoga classes etc. I have worked for multiple companies who offered this incentive every year; $400-800 a year. It was to motivate employees to workout and live a healthier lifestyle.
