I temped with The RMR group for just 8 days - not even all full work days at that. My start date was delayed because they didn’t have my laptop on the day I was supposed to start, and my first two days were half days because of this. I was supposed to be a property admin - which involves handling calls. My headset came in during my second work week, and I didn’t even get my teams phone number set up until what ended up being my last day.
They decided to end my temp contract because I was “not retaining training” when I had JUST started and there were multiple delays on their end in getting me trained and at no point did they address any issues in how I was receiving training. I wasted my time accepting this temp position, it was 40+ minutes away from home and for them to delay my training then punish me for a learning curve just shows a sheer lack of organization on their part.

Won’t give helpful feedback during training, will not address issues they notice, and do not take accountability on their errors impeding others.

There are a few good employees there. The commute and the aggravation, the stress, and the aggravation from upper management wasn’t worth it.

The perks and benefits, including retirement contributions matching and yearly bonuses.

Poor Management. The hierarchy structure. Corporate America at its worst on the third floor.

Predominant Snotty and cold on the third floor weee the executives are located. Spoiled adults.

Avoiding my narcissistic and condescending supervisor.

Great health care nd benefits. They offer an opportunity for career advancement

The amount of work and responsibility. It is stressful getting ahead as a woman of color

Work environment in the office was was 90% white women.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was a busy day. Lots of computer work, lots of reading but fun at the same time. There was a couple of close co-workers I enjoyed talking to that made the day go by fast.

There is a culture of complacency and looking the other way at employees goes deep in this company. Management is disorganized and often has no idea what they are doing. They are constantly reshuffling regions, one day you will have one area and the next day you will have something different. The pay indeed has for this position is way off. You shouldn’t even look at this for under $160,000.

The company itself is okay, coworkers are awesome, the pay & tenants are great, however everything else (systems, processes, management) needs a lot of improvement.
Also, training is insufficient. Sometimes you may be thrown in to do something that you haven’t been trained on and it’s up to you, to get it done.
