Spending too much money on events after lay offs

Travere used to be a great organization. They are too big and too focused on sales and cutting costs...until it comes to sales/commercial. Large event where all employees were flown in to SD. How does this save money, especially after recent 20% RIF?

Communications does not funnel to the proper employees and often several people are doing the same work. Sadly, the company has changed its focus to money and not patients first.
