Heavy calendaring, answering & placing phone calls for the CFO, expense reports, travel arrangements, writing correspondence, revising the weekly financial reports. Doing research on which bills had to be paid. Did A/P work using Epicor. The accounting manager was very nice and helpful, however the CFO was not a very nice person - yelled at me (& not only me!!) almost everyday. He had an overnight package that he wanted sent to his home for an early Saturday delivery. He called me around 2:30pm on Saturday saying that the package was not delivered yet. I tracked it online and there was one attempt but no one answered the door, then there was a notation "inclimate weather conditions", there was a snow storm that day. He even yelled at me on the phone saying that he told me to use Fedex not UPS, but we only had an account with UPS. It was up to the driver to leave the package and at that time of year there is a lot of theft so the driver did not leave the package. On Monday I went into work an hour and a half early to help him with the presentation, he called me into his office & gave me a choice to either resign or be fired. I chose to resign. I got along with all the other co-workers, I never ever had such a problem with a man in my entire working career as I did with him. The hardest part of my job was to put up with the CFO, I used to cringe on my way into the office everyday dreading to see him. He treated me horrible. I had even broke my shoulder and still went to work everyday. The most enjoyable part of my job was travel arrangements, expense reports, calendaring and A/P.
