nasdaq:sage https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1444986 Mar 27th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Sage Therapeutics Consultant Cambridge, MA Not too good to be true Sage is one of the best companies I've ever worked with. The People Team are innovative and it shows through SageFlex (you can work fully remote, in the office or both), the outstanding benefits, and the overall commutation to employees. I've heard so many people brag about the culture and the people and I'm here to tell you it's true. You'll work with some of the best people you'll ever meet doing amazing things. There have been some ups and downs with staffing, but that happens in biotech and Sage is on the upward mend now. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 1444986 Open 0.0 [] CONTRACT No Yes 6.0 Open Mar 29th, 2024 10:26AM Mar 29th, 2024 10:26AM Sage Therapeutics Health Care Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology

nasdaq:sage https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1444986 Mar 11th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Sage Therapeutics Principal Scientist Kalamazoo, MI Sage Principal Scientist Great Salary and Benefits Talented coworkers Great Pipeline Great severance package Great direct manager and middle management Amazing company perks. Massive layoffs are hard on employees and their families. Stop overfiring people and planning for the best-case scenario of FDA approval for treatment of MDD with Zurzuvae. Don't make excuses for your layoffs such as that is just the way it is working at a biopharmaceutical company or blame the FDA for not approving your drug. There is a reason it has been denied twice now and you did not learn from your mistakes the first time. I hope the third time is for the win to actually help patients. Take ownership for your decisions and the impact they have on the people who work for the company. I did not even finish my onboarding with the company before I was let go along with many other employees who were only with the company for less than 3 months. My employment was 11 weeks. Not everyone lives in a chemistry hub and just job hop to another job. Don't hire people if don't need them. Company wants your well-being and mental health as a priority. Very disorganized organization. nasdaq:sage https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1444986 Jan 16th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Sage Therapeutics Associate Director - IT Cambridge, MA Hard to watch Sage go downhill Amazing benefits. Great flexibility. Awesome people to work with. Interesting that they laid of 40% of the company but not certain people that had direct impact on the decisions that got Sage into the pickle it got into in the first place with Zurzuvae. No plans for MDD only that would have allowed for a quick pivot. Few lessons learned implemented from Zulresso. People's livelihoods are impacted by leadership's deliberate unpreparedness. As far as the actual work, there was a meaningful attempt at prioritization in 2022 & 2023 but it fell on deaf ears, too many low impact, low value projects taking up time. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 2.0 4.0 3.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 3.0 1444986 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 6.0 Open Jan 18th, 2024 04:04PM Jan 18th, 2024 04:04PM Sage Therapeutics Health Care Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology
nasdaq:sage https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1444986 Jan 10th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Sage Therapeutics Sales Boston, MA Pros Flexible work environment for those at home office (sales is always remote). Benefits are spectacular. Salaries are exceptional. Culture is good but not what it used to be. Good opportunity to move up or to different departments. Love the vacation policy of use what you need when you need it. Obviously employee mental wellness is treated more importantly here than at any other company I worked for given the nature of their products and pipeline. Prior to the Zulresso launch Sage was innovative and nimble with regard to its commercial division but now it just cannot get out of its own way. For a small company it worries a ridiculous amount about compliance...you're Sage not Pfizer and you're not being looked at that intensely by the FDA or any regulatory area around which legal has created complete paranoia. Leadership, for the most part, comes across as disingenuous and has stripped Sage of what was once a tremedous culture of seek to learn and understand. Now it's a lot of ego and rest assured the CEO and VP of Commercial Sales aren't interested in hearing anything other than, "yep, that's a great way to do things". They cannot seem to learn from their mistakes as they continue to repeat them in clin ops, commercial onboarding, go-to-market strategy. And, I've lost track as to where we are on layoff/restructures...2 or 3...and this is another example of what happens when SLT doesn't listen to or ask for insight outside their silo. Over the top with DE&I...another disingenuous senior leadership push. 1.0 POSITIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 3.0 5.0 3.0 4.0 5.0 2.0 5.0 1444986 Open Self-awareness and retrospective insight are skill sets worth investing in. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 Open Jan 11th, 2024 07:52PM Jan 11th, 2024 07:52PM Sage Therapeutics Health Care Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology
