Toxic Workmates, no work-life balance, favoritism

Toxic environment, overtime never got paid. Management doesn't approve your overtime. You can't even call in Sick because they dont care, as long as you are alive, you should go to work or else they will say bad things about you. They will tire you out to the point you're about to break down and will not even care.

Career progression stops at the sm level

Moving out of a store is impossible unless you have been there 20 years regardless of background. It’s about who you know not what you know. You we will stretched thin and the fallout policy protect baristas and shifts that you then have to cover and due to the hours that a 4am-9pm day. Amazing culture and benifits of the store environment but this generation cries over everything - lots of politics and if you keep accountability all of the open channels for partners opens you up to investigation for being to stern or to black and white. Yet training tells you to be consistent and enforce the policies. Dms support you when needed as long as your hitting expectations yet i have seen them flip on my peers quickly and talk aggressively to other sms even though if we spoke the way we were spoken to you would be fired. Great pay and benifits very hard environment to succeed in.
