I worked for this company for 5 years. I made many meaningful connections and it allowed me to grow as a person. The job itself can get boring on some days, and other days there is too much to do. Communication was lacking, corporate changed their mind last minute on decisions, rules and regulations were sometimes unclear, and you really had to be a self-starter to advance within the company. If you're a hard-worker, you'll do fine. The pay isn't the greatest and it is hard to feel appreciated when you make barely more than people just starting out with no knowledge or responsibility. I give it 3 stars, but this company could use some updating. Lacking in pay and communication, but it makes up for it with job security and an overall nice atmosphere.

Friendly and fun although time could be boring and stressful. Very easy and fun Job though when I was On floor it was very boring just looking at shoe boxes all day and manger would insist we customer
Service 24/7 which was kinda annoying

Everyone is nicer in person, management was bad but great people. Never had an issue with anyone except the GM mainly because of the schedule never really being solid.

Toxic work environment

This job pays horribly, if you have real bills and responsibilities then this job isn’t for you. The management is a joke. Everyone talks about everyone. They have a huge turnover rate, because they don’t know how to talk to people. Employees were more knowledgeable than some of the managers. They threaten to write you up and cut hours over low shoe perk scores. I wouldn’t want my worse enemy to work there.

Overall the company is great if you are a teenager. Company doesn’t pay enough to sustain a living as a sales associate. The experience working for this company is wonderful. Being able to have fun assisting customers give out prizes is fun.

Typical retail job that goes no where
|
Management will micromanage you. Make you keep busy with meaningless task even if there's no customers in the store or everything been completed.
Decent coworkers.
Store open longer than it needs to be (at night), given only a few customers will even show up.
Wearing multiple hats as a cashier, store cleaner, and customer service helper all for low pay.

Evening hours, long lunch breaks (up to 45 min), Some mangers are very helpful to new employees.
|
Part time work with no benefits. Low pay for the amount of work required to do.

Once you are good at something they keep you in that one spot and you do not get to move around. They have favorites. When I first started we were getting lots of overtime and still having Sundays off. It was seven to five Monday through Friday then seven to three thirty on Saturdays with Sunday off. Once overtime stopped, we were going home by eleven most days and barely getting forty hours if at all.
