My encounter with Company X left much to be desired. From start to finish, the experience was marred by inefficiency, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
One of the most frustrating aspects was the company's customer service. Attempts to reach them were met with long wait times, unhelpful representatives, and a general sense of disinterest in resolving issues. It seemed as though they viewed customer inquiries as inconveniences rather than opportunities to provide assistance.
Furthermore, the quality of the product/service fell far short of expectations. Despite promises of reliability and effectiveness, the reality was quite the opposite. The product/service frequently malfunctioned or failed to deliver on its advertised benefits. This not only resulted in wasted time and resources but also undermined trust in the company's brand.

Hit and miss
|
Basically you drive around and go to schools to take kids photos. There’s minimal training, basically thrown into it. You get gas money though so it’s okay. You make some friends and some enemies with your coworkers. I was poorly treated and suddenly let go after I basically ran the area. Not very professional if you ask me. I’ve heard tons of complaints from people. I love photography and kids so it was alright in that aspect minus the fact you will get s*** on by some kids thinking they are top s***. Hit and miss for sure. No benefits.

Nice people thankful for the opportunity
|
Work was very stressful and I felt like underpaid.
Was very annoying with the working over or coming in early because of production needs.
Most of the time you'd sit there for two hours with not much to do.
It was very frequent we had to work over when I was there.
The people were very nice in the building and kind but as far as moving up, I was t there that long.
Was easy to get along with people but underpaid from all of the things I was doing.

Terrible company
|
They promise you incentives for every sale but then take away your commissions on bundles. You earn $1.. If that... that you have to split if someone is selling your photos. This company hands you an old refurbished camera and has you shoot in auto... TADA you are now a photographer And a sales person.
They'll praise about how much the company love sales because that's all they care about. Getting customers in and out as fast as possible to buy their mediocre photos. And trust me they will be mediocre because you're so stressed out overworked and uninspired because you have to set up the camera room take photos do a half a*s "edit" and sell the photos all in 15 min because they will double book clients every 15 min. Because money is more important than quality or good mental health. This is the hardest part of the job. Being quick but also personable and loving and caring and SMILEY. You will over worked and underpaid. But you'll try to push thru it for "experience" SAVE YOUR SELF. Do not work here. They will pay you minimum wage and NEVER give you a raise. It's all about "commission. You have to give a whole script to get people to buy a bundle to warn the three dollars max all to take it away and leave you earning nothing. Get a dollar if you sell a pillow maybe. And it's not worth it after tax.
My studio has 2 great photophers who have been there almost 2 years and never gotten a raise. They'll hire anybody and pay them the same. You can move up in this company unless you wanna sell your soul and become a manager. You'll be over worked but Hey you'll make $30 an hour and take naps in the back camera room on the clock and make the minimum wage staff do everything. This place sucks. Cameras always break. Register and computers and software is prehistoric and the props are old and dingy. Work culture s*cks. No work life balence. You sl*ve away and then they lay you off when the peak season is over if youre lucky. If you're one of their top salesmen and photographer you'll get to stay... Yeayy??? While the manager gets a thousand dollar bonus and you get a pizza and a thanks for your Hardwork. But NEVER A RAISE. They'll cut your hours and use you until you're just about ready to off y*urself. Too harsh? Stay away. I'm telling you. I feel bad for the ppl who still work there. Managers district managers the whole company is terrible.

Everything sucks, No raise, no pay, no time off, They over work you until you quit or they lay you off. Terrible incentives, and false commission promises.

Fun job and Meaningful work, but not worth it if you're full time
|
Rewarding, the colleagues can be amazing, being an over paid toddler is literally the job.
Holidays are a nightmare with over-bookings, and an AI/Ghost appointments double book single camera rooms and triple book 2 camera room studios.
Jobs here are fun, but you have to be loyal and fully dedicated to this job to not only keep the job, but to be promoted

Appointment system, getting promotions or good raises, upper management on corporate level is all trash, full time is on 24/7
|

Good workplace

Great management in my location, easy work but tedious during peck season. Work is repetitive. Upper management could be improved. Hardest part was during peak season with lots of work but with a good team which I had, we got the work done.

Love everything about this job. Coworkers and managers are amazing! Everyone is helpful and you learn a lot about photography even if you never had experience before! You work with children and staff at different schools. There is a lot of traveling for this job, but still very easy.
