|
A typical day at work is one of two things, being on the phone to generate meeting or client visits in a 5 state territory. Called on top 100 schools in the 5 state territory. Sales process start to finish and delivery.
I had a young manager who was intimidated by me. He wasn't at ease working with me. It was definitely a personality change when I left my old manager to work for my new one.
There is no open door process to take an issue for upper management. As the company got purchased by a company in Taiwaaan and that's when the salaries were examined by new owner.
I was downsized from my territory and let go in 2016. I have done some consulting work with them since that time

It was good for my second job out of post secondary

Great people, products and learning experience... but lower salary than you'd expect and difficult advancement (more lateral moves) back then... not sure how things are run now. It was a fun place to work and great life work balance flexibility, plus decent benefits.

Ok place to work but company lacks innovation to succeed long term
|
The company has a good product (interactive white boards), but unfortunately it lacks the innovation to stay in and thrive in today's market.
The majority of people I work with are great, and the company culture (at least in the Seattle office) is one of the best I have been a part of. The down side is the management (company wide). Upper-management is only out for #1, poorly mismanage the company, and claim they listen to their employees, but I have yet to see that.
