I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a positive work environment. My experience there was marred by a toxic workplace culture characterized by unjust accusations, constant belittlement, and emotional distress. Despite initially loving my job and feeling a strong sense of belonging, the rapid change in management and CEO created a hostile atmosphere created by deceitful practices quickly eroded my confidence and morale.
The lack of transparency and honesty from management was particularly concerning. Repeated lies and false promises only exacerbated the already challenging situation. Additionally, the company's decision to continue layoffs while simultaneously hiring externally for positions that were already filled demonstrated a blatant disregard for employee well-being and job security.
Overall, my time at this company was deeply disappointing and emotionally draining. I would caution anyone considering employment there to carefully weigh the potential risks to their mental and emotional health.

The only potential benefit of working there is the employee discount at the store.

Since the potential Bass Pro/Cab merger failed the culture and direction in the corp. office plummeted. Management turned over at a record pace. The adage of "S**t rolls down hill," was replaced with "Spray them with it through a fire hose." Bad decisions and strategy beget worse decisions and strategy. Wildly unrealistic expectations combined with toxic managerial styles from extremely new and seemingly unqualified people. New SOP and workflow were casually emailed to employees with complete expectation of immediate buy in and 0 accountability or willingness to listen when push back inevitably arose. It was very evident that no credence was given to the current workload or any respect to how it will impact workflow. What ever it was is no more, what ever they think they are building towards….good luck to those who choose to join them in the journey. Better pay, better benefits, and better culture is out there, and they have set the bar extremely low.
