The office was nice and well stocked.

I'm sure if you were on the right team, this would have been a great place to work and to be fair, my experience was from 4 years ago. However, this was the least enjoyable job I have ever had due to my manager who was at senior director level. He was insulting and demeaning and only had one direct report (myself) for a reason.

I loved my coworkers. Kudos to the ones who remain sane through all the constant upheavals.
The unlimited PTO was nice too.

The (in)decision-makers (ELT) keep changing processes and teams - hiring then firing then making structure changes like some kind of gaslighting scheme to keep everyone anxious and compliant.
Even the C-suite isn’t safe (they’re on the 4th CEO post-private equity acquisition).
Not exactly a worker’s paradise. By the time the proletariat have finally adapted to the current process, there is a Soviet-style purge and new instructions are blasted out for the next cycle of confusion.
