This is the type of environment where you reap what you sow. If you're driven and work hard you'll be recognized. This is NOT the type of organization where you can hide behind others. So if you're a "fake it til you make it" kind of person, this may not be the best. But if you're a hard worker who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves, you will succeed.

The department I worked in was pleasurable and communicative, with compassionate people. I had some serious personal issues occur that my manager was very flexible with and worked with me to ensure I was doing okay and taking the time I needed to recover. As an individual with a disability as well, this was the first job I've ever worked where I was asked seriously about what accomodations I would need and what resources I had at my disposal. The understanding within the department really contributed to my success. If I had to give any suggestions, I'd recommend a tighter focus on training creation, as a stronger foundation would help all analysts, from tenured to those coming into the banking AML sphere for the first time.
