nasdaq:tcmd https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=595855 Apr 2nd, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Tactile Medical No Answer to Position Spokane, WA NA The pay was good when I worked there Very unethical - management encouraged unethical practices such as not being honest with the paperwork that providers were signing and trying to trick providers into signing off on certain pieces of the paperwork in order to ship the pump. There was no work/life balance at all. Management was very dishonest and inappropriate. There were a couple of instances when I caught my territory partner driving by my house which is a total violation of privacy because I had never invited them over or disclosed my address to them. Come to find out, management encouraged product specialists to do that to their associates or the demo-doers. I understand that as a field employee you are expected to be out in the field during certain hours, but one of these drive by's happened during the stay-at-home order during covid, and the other drive by was as I was leaving my house at 8am. Made no sense to happen during those times and it was completely inappropriate for them to have my address. Flexible scheduling for part time employees who work a second job. There are too many negative reasons to list here regarding employment with Tactile, so I will list the top concerns I encountered. Poorly managed! Micro managed to death unnecessarily by managers who should not be in their role. A major lack of compassion for part time patient educators with a bottom line of pushing corporate policies that are way too restrictive resulting in “busy work” that does not apply. Constant revolving door of management on all levels. This company needs new leadership in almost every area. It’s a near miss. Physicians are frustrated. Patients are frustrated. Sales reps are leaving or always looking for new positions. There is no concern for overworked PEC’s in the field and NO communication over any concerns regarding patient complaints. Just sell and forget. The workplace is toxic. The local management is toxic. There are no benefits whatsoever in working part time and underpaid for full time. Worse environment I have ever experienced and worse southeast management possible. Constant behind the scenes drama and extremely dissatisfied employees. Pay attention and make changes!! You’re losing amazing people because of inadequate lazy micromanaging “managers” who have no clue how to do their jobs aside from collecting a paycheck! It’s honestly pathetic and looking back I regret wasting my energy and precious time with this company. Great product. Great Time Off Benefits, you just have to set boundaries or you could work 60+ easy but they don’t pressure that. Poor Healthcare Benefits Departments are ran individually vs. as a company.
