Absolutely loved it
|
This was by far the most fun job I’ve ever had. I had to quit due to being part time (no benefits), having to move and having a baby. If it want for all that I would have stayed forever. My boss was amazing and super supportive. Great company to work for.

Tactile was a great place to work until summer of 2023. Management decided to change most people's roles, giving them 4 jobs instead of one. It was later discovered they did this intentionally to make as many long-time employees quit as possible. The culture at this company is toxic due to upper management.

New management is horrible - Culture is toxic
|
No communication between departments. New management: VP of operations is terrible. He has no idea what he’s doing. Condescending and abrasive. The Director of Engineering is the worst micromanager I have ever dealt with. Has no clue about anything you are doing or have done and is extremely inefficient. You can tell he has no idea how to manage a team of 15+ people. No real growth opportunities at this company. Company used to be great but was recently restructured. There is maybe one person left in Engineering that knows what they are doing. Company is going downhill fast! Turnover has been extremely high. Almost no original employees work there and have been turned over several times in some cases. Toxic work environment.

Employees are micro managed
|
New management and company structure is about cutting costs. Employees are micro managed on their timecards, PTO and days to report in office. The expectation is to go above and beyond but cannot use OT to complete a days work so the work piles on and seem to never catch up. The corporate work system cannot handle the amount of intake from the sales field team so there's often disruption which causes constant delay. The pressure is put on the sales support team to push orders through and it's a never ending battle of being asked 'what's going on with this?' from the field sales team. Overall, similar to most other corporate jobs but focus on company growth has been causing aches along the way.
