Good work life balance and amazing people
|
I don’t think you’ll find a better culture fit in tech anywhere else even if the company has gone through lots of changes over the last couple years as the tech industry has suffered. I’ve been on 3 different teams in 3 years and everyone here has been super nice and respectful. You don’t need to be afraid to reach out to anyone and if you put your work in, you’ll learn a lot. I will say it’s not as ambitious and fast paced as other big tech companies.

Great colleagues, lots of org and management turmoil
|
Day to day work is great, excellent culture (for the time being). 100% remote company. As the company grows and the founders become less interested due to being billionaires and wanting to do other stuff, they are handing over a lot of control to the board and allowing dramatic changes that will eventually change the culture.

They don't hire people for long time
|
They fire people and end contract when covid strike as if covid has strike their potential to work with other people or their wallet. Project was created and later management took of the budget. Not a right place to continue your career.

Very poor work life balance. Stress of stack ranking and PIP. After layoffs the environment has become toxic. Founders have left the company to someone hired from Meta, with a lot of senior management being brought in from there.

Atlassian used to feel like a special place to work. Over the past year there have been a lot of changes. Moral is down. They introduced stacked ranking. I would say it is not a terrible place to work but it is no better than any other similar tech company
