-Clearly defined processes in SOPs that lead to industry certifications
-Health benefit was always great and did not cost too much

-Lots of sexism against women, especially on the sales side.
-Management lied to staff about layoffs. Specifically were asked about if there would be layoffs, and the answer, instead of being "that has not been determined yet" or another answer was "Well, keep working hard and that won't happen."
-No recognition for employees outside of sales
-Low pay in comparison to market.
-Many managers micromanage
-Process for giving raises is painful in addition to low compensation for the market

I spent most of working career at this company. I took advantage of the benefits - tuition, 401k, etc. When I left I was able to move on with more value.

In the later years the biggest con was watching a once successful company succumb to the challenges of the economy, ultimately laying people off, going private, and merging with a bigger company.

Lied about layoffs - leadership said everything was good and their people were the most valued asset, then laid off 100 people. Unlimited PTO is a sham, not unlimited, you can only use as much as you would have accrued under the old system. Leadership is sexist and only hires relatives of other leaders or long-time employees.
