I believe that management is out of touch with other markets outside of the general vicinity of headquarters. North Carolina operates completely different. A branch is not on every corner or easily accessible for employees and or members. Most communication is via phone and e-mail. A majority of employees have to commute to the office 30+ minutes due to not being able to afford to live in the areas where the branches are. Not to mention the horrific traffic. Please return the remote opportunities to employees.

CEO should have gotten an HR complaint with how uncomfortable he made everyone by starting our meeting where he announced that he was taking our wfh privileges away so we could be a “closer family” with an OnlyFans joke.

- Reconsider the Hybrid schedule, why fix something that isn't broken.
- New CEO gave a big speech on coming back into office however made exceptions for certain people to be fully remote and even get hired from out of state.
- CEO insisted that if we don't return to office TowneBank will fail in 5 years.... but then said he wasn't worried about our work from home efficiency... how does that make sense?
- Open door policy... but not open minded to anyone's opinions. "you wont change my mind". then what is the point of wasting time talking about it.
- Be more relatable to the current employees, showing a video of sports teams celebrating is out of touch with what the current office dynamic is along with the face those sports stars are making millions so of course they they are excited.
- Offer more choices for healthcare, $6000 deductible is not realistic. Paying $700 a month for healthcare and still have to pay for my doctors visit, or my kids appt.
- I would've given this company 5 Stars this time last year, but with recent decisions I just cannot, and the job market is teaming with companies still utilizing some work life balance and that is where the top talents will end up unfortunately.

Go back to 2022 and get rid of selfish CEO Billy Foster. The pay is lower than mist here,;but 3 ays working at home made it worth it. That's gone. CRO Billy told us our production at home wasn't the issue, and then babbled. He even made a joke about OnlyFans that made us all feel uncomfortable. He was told on stage what OnLyFans the soft porn is and said " I know I have two 20 year olds." After acknowledging that he knew what OnlyFans was, je proceeded to spread nonsense about how TowneBank could not survive wirh sone working hybrid. Which makes no sense. People today are still afraid to speak up about what happened that day when he lied to everyone while bragging that this was "My first big decision here." as if we cared. HR seems to be OK with the jokes on stage which most if us found ro be gross. This is the beginning of the end for TowneBank. People are applying for other jobs that offer better pay, and a Hybrid or remote schedule. You will see a flood of reviews like this soon. And when the internal yearly survey comes out, it will be very ugly. We talk in the office, and we all agree it's quite obvious the CEO hates all of us, so we're all leaving. I've been here for less than 10 years but this is my last. Inappropriate comments in meetings by the CEO, average pay, and hybrid taken away. This baklnk is going backwards. Do NOT come to TowneBank, there are much better paying banks wirh remote and or hybrid. Why aren't people reporting this to HR? Why would they? Har was present for the meeting lol. Billy is the worst thing that ever happened to this bank, and I'm unloading my TB stock because of him.

Free coffee, creamer, soda, Bevy water machines, et cetera. Fruit everyday. Pretty campus. Lots of community volunteer opportunities. People in trenches with you are nice.

Even when you work here for 10+ years, it doesn’t really get you much unfortunately unless you know someone or can pull some strings or are one of the favorite ones (think Towne Academy or selective internal programs). I have enjoyed so much the ability to do work remotely some days because it has drastically improved my work-life-balance and not to mention my mental health. A five day in office mandate means I have to leave a job I have worked very hard in. I have made friends with. For what, might I ask? Because upper management has “put a lot of thought into this” and “it’s not about the productivity.” Ok —That’s stupid. You’re going to lose a lot of really good people who have been here for so long, so I hope it’s worth it. The favoritism and nepotism here is through the roof. It’s very much drink the koolaid or shut up. I think “cult” is probably too harsh, but not too far off. It’s odd to say you are forward thinking when only old white men make the decisions. It’s odd to say you care about diversity when there are so few people of color in leadership positions, and awarded internally (e.g. Chairman’s Club) or are just cycled through in marketing material to appear quote unquote diverse. Don’t just talk about it, be about it.
