Salary workers are not held accountable to their hours so many people take advantage of that. There is almost no chance of advancement in the company, and if you do advance, you get as little of a raise as possible. People that want the company to succeed usually leave within 4 years. You can voice your opinion all the time, and nothing will come of it. The lack of communication is outstanding. I could never tell if it was arrogance or ignorance. I could go weeks without my manager seeming to care what I was doing-unless his name was used in slowing a process down. Overtime is only for hourly employees when deadlines are tight. We would be doing the same tests over and over. Which made for an easy work day. The training for the company was also terrible. They expect a lot after one day of learning. They are slow moving as well, it took almost a month for me to be qualified to work by myself. The management was very loose and was not straightforward. The manager would say one thing then would say the complete opposite within the next sentence. My manager was a very brilliant scientist but doesn't quite understand how people work. The workplace culture was the only good part about the job. The people were very nice and always there to help. They would do various activities to keep people involved, like lunch parties.
