Opportunity to branch off into other skillsets if you prove yourself in what you're currently doing. Very forward thinking with product roadmaps, they develop platforms with downstream upgrades in mind. Very heavy R&D focus, there's an above average chance you'll end up with a patent. Great place for the ambitious. Business is looking very positive in the long run, leadership team understands product market fit and how to fulfill that in a way that is profitable.

Doing high quality development requires high quality people that can give projects that extra push, so this place will demand a lot out of you. Some people may not be cut out for this, up to you to decide if that fits with your sensibilities. This sector is currently in a hostile phase right now (lookup ongoing litigation concerns), you may need a thick skin to look past the accusatory PR from other organizations and remember the positive impact we're having on the scientific community (although I'd expect this to cool down with some time).

A lot of people portray they are smart, talented and genuine, however not all teams are so. Appreciated small fraction that truly was.

C-suite is either clueless or cannot find good middle management or has affinity for ones that manage up. One simply cannot trust middle management. Numerous employees that were “rockstars” for them a month or two ago were let go during performance reviews to save $$$ in stocks and bonus.
Managers are known for gaslighting their team members for their own job security.
Join them only if you have no appreciation for work-life balance, ethics and would love them to steal credit for your work. You are better off somewhere else!

This company doesn't know what a "PRO" is. EVERYTHING is a CON. I have been applying to new jobs since week 2 but the job market is so tough I may have to stay here for a bit to make monthly rent and afford to keep my kids from being homeless.

Worst company I have ever worked for. Horrible management and mid management is the worst. Communications team sucks. HR team/people team is below par for the bay area. Admin team are a bunch of backstabbers, IT is clueless but they are nice, real-estate team is well boring, legal and finance are a bunch of losers. Everyone in management lacks people skills, everyone in management should be fired. VPs want to be part of Senior Staff soooooooooo bad they risk their own morals to be in the "in crowd". Everyone that works here is looking for another job.
