Don't expect fair compensation

Meridian hires people with little experience in order to compensate them at the lowest level of lab tech pay I have seen. There is also very little room for advancement, however you're still expected to pick up the responsibilities of the positions unfilled above you.

I am delighted to share my thoughts and experiences during my time at Meridian. It has truly been a rewarding journey filled with positive interactions and a welcoming family atmosphere.
From the moment I joined Meridian, I felt like I was part of a close-knit community. The team's camaraderie and supportive environment have contributed significantly to my overall job satisfaction. I have cherished the opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues who truly care about one another's success and well-being.
The company's commitment to maintaining a family-like atmosphere has been a standout feature for me. This has not only made the workplace enjoyable but has also translated into effective collaboration and a seamless flow of ideas across departments. It's heartening to see how much value Meridian places on fostering a sense of belonging among its employees.
However, there is one aspect that I believe could be improved upon. While the family atmosphere is exceptional, I have encountered challenges in terms of career advancement within my field. Opportunities for professional growth and upward mobility have been limited. As someone who is enthusiastic about expanding my skills and taking on new challenges, this aspect has been a source of frustration.
In conclusion, my experience at Meridian has been overwhelmingly positive due to the remarkable family atmosphere and the strong relationships I've built with my colleagues. However, I do hope that in the future, there could be more avenues for career progression and development in my field. I am grateful for the experiences I've gained and the connections I've made during my time here.

If you want an entry level job where you are expected to over work, join the team. Managers and senior techs will blame newer employees for things they have no control over. Also a very hostile environment. People will smile in your face when in reality they have it out for you. Very fake. Let Meridian be your entry but not your last stop. People are very disposable to them and have a new person every week. Definitely gonna leave soon.
P.S. If you work in cell culture expect to have no social life
