There's nothing special about working for VOXX International, so I can't recommend it over other companies in the industry that offer better compensation. There's very limited room for growth for the employees due to the lack of learning and advancement opportunities. You can also be unlucky sometimes and be forced to work with horrible clients.

I have met some exceptionally lovely people.

This company is a joke and has gone way down hill. Will take advantage of you and overwork you and continuously add work to your plate without giving you a raise. Customer service reps are underpaid and way overworked. With inflation, our pay is laughable. While they brag about benefits they are mediocre at best. CSRs have to allow customers to treat them terribly, curse & threaten us, and we cannot end the call. This job has destroyed my mental health, and many others.

The compensation was okay. It might not be a standout feature, but I met my basic needs.

Speaking of stress, the bosses? Let's just say they weren't exactly Gandalf guiding us through the coding mines. Communication was a black hole, feedback was scarcer than unicorns, and decisions changed faster than the weather in April. We were just code monkeys following directions, never in the loop.

It was a good opportunity for me to experience and learn so many things about finance.

What I really hate about working here is the management's attitude towards employees. They were disrespectful to our personal space and monitored us even on our breaks and I find it awful! Being a control freak is not a good look!

Only few people are competent here. I was able to recognize then and work alongside them. But it was hard.
|
Two reasons make Voxx a terrible place to work, or possibly the worst. The fist is the lack of cooperation among departments, which created unwanted challenges, stress, and chaos. The second is the ridiculous pay they offer. Then, they expect you to work 60 hours a week. It was a horrible experience that I would never repeat!
