They care about people and they strive to make the place inclusive (not a dirty word!) and welcoming. They're that great combination of smart and humane people. Nobody is merely going through the motions; everybody is genuinely interested in making a difference for patients. It can be somewhat chaotic. Not so much in the standard corporate way of "this was top priority, now that is top priority" but more that they're still feeling their way toward the right way to support the science, whether that's hands-on close support or more large-scale enterprise-wide solutions. Resourcing can be very challenging.
