<p>Voyager Therapeutics is developing recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) vectors for treating neurological diseases. Thorough characterization of these products is essential for establishing successful gene therapy applications. Voyager is seeking a highly motivated contract Associate Scientist for a position within the Process Analytics group. The qualified candidate will follow SOPs and relevant procedures involved in analysis of process development and pre-clinical grade materials (rAAV, Baculovirus, and DNA). After product testing, the candidate will be responsible for data analysis as well as reporting of data.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Independently conduct assays for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of proteins (ELISA, Western blot, silver stain/PAGE) and DNA (qPCR, agarose gel electrophoresis)</li>
<li>Perform routine assays on a weekly basis to determine product quality</li>
<li>Analyze data and record results into ELN/LIMS in a timely manner</li>
<li>Write technical reports summarizing data</li>
<li>Formulation and testing of buffers and materials needed for routine assays</li>
<li>Perform bioassays for determining product potency (vector transgene expression)</li>
<li>Aseptic maintenance of cell cultures</li>
<li>Further develop existing methods for improved performance</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BS in Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry/Virology or a related field</li>
<li>A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in (Biotech/Biopharma) industry</li>
<li>Experience with the following techniques is important for qualifying for this position: qPCR and ELISA</li>
<li>Experience in working in an analytical development / process analytics setting</li>
<li>Familiar with strict adherence to established SOP’s</li>
<li>Strong desire to learn multiple techniques and willingness to provide support as required</li>
<li>Significant attention to detail and accuracy in following protocols</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in a fluid, fast-paced and team work environment</li>
</ul>

<p>Voyager is seeking a highly motivated and multifaceted Senior Research Associate I/II who shares our passion for the promise of gene therapy. This is an ideal position for an individual with a strong background in preclinical CNS drug development focused on in vitro/in vivo testing of gene therapies and multiple biochemical readouts, who thrives in a fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary biotech environment. The individual will work in the laboratory and be responsible for in vitro and biochemical assays; as well as in vivo pharmacology, efficacy, and IND-enabling rodent studies. The role will support in vitro and in vivo evaluations in groundbreaking therapeutic programs and platform discovery gene therapy research in CNS disease areas. The candidate will conduct and evaluate research studies with scientific integrity and communicate study progress and data through presentations and reports. We are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience with CNS drug-development focused responsibilities —rodent in vivo studies [dosing via different routes of administration, tissue collections, micro-dissections, cataloging] and downstream analysis (ddPCR, RT-qPCR, quantitative protein and activity-assays, and western blot). This position will report directly to the Senior Scientist I.</p>
<h4><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h4>

<li>A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR a Master’s in molecular/Cellular Biology or related field with 2+ years’ experience or equivalent.</li>
<li>Extensive hands-on experience with molecular and cellular techniques including DNA, mRNA, and protein quantification (ELISA, western blot, rt-PCR and ddPCR)</li>
<li>A proven track record of development of in vitro screening; biochemical/enzymatic assay to support drug discovery efforts.</li>

<p>Voyager is looking for an experienced Manager/Sr. Manager, Medical Communications to join our Medical Affairs team to support our partnered Parkinson’s disease program. The Manager/Sr. Manager, Medical Communications, will contribute to and support the development of the Medical communications strategy and tactical plan, and manage and contribute to assigned aspects of the tactical output of the plan, including peer reviewed publications, congress abstracts, posters and oral presentations, additional congress activities, MSL materials, and internal education tools. This role will also support the development and updating of foundational medical communications materials, including scientific platforms, lexica, etc and serve as a member of the joint Medical Affairs team. This individual will report directly to the Senior Director, Medical Affairs and Operations.</p>

The qualified candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert within the group with a strong expertise in drug product manufacturing of biologics and will provide support for drug substance/product packaging/shipping across the Voyager network. This individual will be a member of the Drug Product Sciences group within the Biopharmaceutical Development organization based in Lexington, MA<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<u><br></u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as a subject matter expert to processes related to fill/finish packaging, labeling, and logistical support for clinical trial products, as well as large scale manufacturing.</li>
<li>Develop protocols to evaluate the compatibility of the drug product with processing materials, container closure components, and sterilization processes.</li>
<li>Develop processes suitable to ensure long-term stability of bulk and vialed drug product.</li>
<li>Serve as subject matter expert on complex aseptic liquid and lyophilization filling applications. Equipment includes state-of-the-art, highly automated systems, as well as traditional, legacy systems.</li>
<li>Act as the sending unit for technology transfer of drug product processes, both internally and to external CMOs. Serve as person-in-plant, where applicable.</li>

<li>A minimum of a BS, MS, or PhD degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences/Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines is required. A BS with 8 plus years of related experience, a MS with 6 plus years of related experience, or PhD with 2 plus years of related experience is required.</li>
<li>Demonstration of expertise in heat transfer fundamentals is required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of shipping qualification, transportation and packaging design is preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of protein dynamics and stability, especially the effects of freezing and thawing on protein stability, is desirable.</li>

<p><strong>Interim Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist Onsite Coordinator with scheduling employees for appropriate shifts</li>
<li>Support Onsite Coordinator by updating schedule based on shifting employee priorities and requirements</li>
<li>Ensure that all external guests are expected on site and are walked through the sign-in and sign-out process effectively</li>
<li>Make sure that all employees have the appropriate PPE to be safe and effective at work and communicate with facilities of any shortage of PPE</li>
<li>Communicate with Office Operations Lead about employees that have concerns regarding changes in transportation to work</li>
<li>Maintain a sign-out sheet of masks and thermometers to ensure that resources are used appropriately</li>
<li>Assess each shift’s sign-in/sign-out sheet to make sure that employees on site come in for their designated shift and leave in a timely manner</li>
<li>Keep a daily log of employees that are not following the assigned shift schedule and relay information to Onsite Coordinator throughout the week</li>
<li>Oversee twice-daily catering deliveries for onsite staff</li>
<li>Ensure that all employees on site are compliant with the SOP and are wearing masks and maintaining social distance</li>
<li>Assign desks to new and returning employees so that everyone can maintain social distancing measures</li>
<li>Lead and support projects that help to bridge communication and build community while employees remotely or in shifts</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required</li>
<li>1 – 2 years of administrative and/or operational support experience</li>
<li>Highly organized and self-motivated</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).</li>
<li>Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment</li>

<p>Voyager Therapeutics is developing recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) vectors for treating neurological diseases. Thorough characterization of these products is essential for establishing successful gene therapy applications. Voyager is seeking a highly motivated contract Associate Scientist for a position within the Process Analytics group. The qualified candidate will follow SOPs and relevant procedures involved in analysis of process development and pre-clinical grade materials (rAAV, Baculovirus, and DNA). After product testing, the candidate will be responsible for data analysis as well as reporting of data.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Independently conduct assays for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of proteins (ELISA, Western blot, silver stain/PAGE) and DNA (qPCR, agarose gel electrophoresis)</li>
<li>Perform routine assays on a weekly basis to determine product quality</li>
<li>Analyze data and record results into ELN/LIMS in a timely manner</li>
<li>Write technical reports summarizing data</li>
<li>Formulation and testing of buffers and materials needed for routine assays</li>
<li>Perform bioassays for determining product potency (vector transgene expression)</li>
<li>Aseptic maintenance of cell cultures</li>
<li>Further develop existing methods for improved performance</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BS in Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry/Virology or a related field</li>
<li>A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in (Biotech/Biopharma) industry</li>
<li>Experience with the following techniques is important for qualifying for this position: qPCR and ELISA</li>
<li>Experience in working in an analytical development / process analytics setting</li>
<li>Familiar with strict adherence to established SOP’s</li>
<li>Strong desire to learn multiple techniques and willingness to provide support as required</li>
<li>Significant attention to detail and accuracy in following protocols</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in a fluid, fast-paced and team work environment</li>
</ul>

<p>Voyager is looking for an experienced Manager/Sr. Manager, Medical Communications to join our Medical Affairs team to support our partnered Parkinson’s disease program. The Manager/Sr. Manager, Medical Communications, will contribute to and support the development of the Medical communications strategy and tactical plan, and manage and contribute to assigned aspects of the tactical output of the plan, including peer reviewed publications, congress abstracts, posters and oral presentations, additional congress activities, MSL materials, and internal education tools. This role will also support the development and updating of foundational medical communications materials, including scientific platforms, lexica, etc and serve as a member of the joint Medical Affairs team. This individual will report directly to the Senior Director, Medical Affairs and Operations.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage development of assigned tactics in support of the Medical communications plan; support program partner in developing additional tactics</li>
<li>Work with authors, internal and partner stakeholders, and medical communications agencies to facilitate development of high quality, medically compelling abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts to fulfil Medical Communications objectives</li>
<li>Manage and support development of educational materials for use by internal, external, and field medical affairs personnel, including MSL tools, internal training materials, and congress booth materials; staff congress booths as required</li>
<li>Develop and maintain expertise in disease and product relevant literature; support strategic and tactical priorities of joint Medical team</li>
<li>Support development and implementation of internal SOPs and work practices required for compliant publications and medical communications material development</li>
<li>Assist in reviewing internal materials for medical and scientific accuracy</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>An advanced scientific degree (Masters, Ph.D, or equivalent) in a relevant research discipline is required</li>
<li>At least 3 years’ experience working within the Pharma/biotech and/or Med Coms agency industry with a focus on publication management and development</li>
<li>Proven ability to develop and grow productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications (oral and written) skills together with constant attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to complete writing and document management assignments to timelines with minimal oversight</li>
<li>Proficiency with the MS Office suite</li>
<li>Ability to engage in positive dialogues, influence outcomes and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time</li>
</ul>

<p>Voyager Therapeutics seeks a highly motivated, innovative and experienced Bioinformatics Scientist to contribute to its research team at its facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is an ideal position for an individual with a strong background in high content dataset analysis and structure-function modeling, who has a can-do attitude and strong work ethic, and thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary biotech environment. The individual will be working on a variety of high-dimensional bioinformatics projects centered on next generation sequencing data analysis, database and literature data mining. Additional experiences with developing and implementing statistical analyses and data mining algorithms are highly desired. The individual will integrate internal and external datasets, as well as perform modeling and statistical calculation to analyze large datasets. The successful candidate will be one who can develop tools and analysis strategies to filter and distill multi-dimensional datasets to generate focused hypotheses to drive miRNA and transgene optimization and vector engineering. &nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Conducting data mining from literature (scientific articles, patents, available databases, and so on) and using the results to aid our vector engineering effort</li>
<li>Analyzing and interpreting DNA/RNA next generation sequencing data, and using the data to help guide the design of next generation constructs and experiments</li>
<li>Performing deep sequencing data analyses to facilitate our AAV capsid evolution and discovery effort</li>
<li>Carrying out biostatistical analyses of the data generated from different groups in the organization and helping interpret the data</li>
<li>Conducting other applied researches using computational biology</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining bioinformatics tools for in-house data analysis and interpretation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>PhD in Bioinformatics, Biology, Genetics or equivalent</li>
<li>Three to five years of relevant work experience in bioinformatics or computational biology in an academic or industry setting</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of statistics and quantitative data analysis</li>
<li>Proven knowledge of literature data mining and experience integrating literature knowledge and molecular evidence into a relevant model</li>
<li>Ability to apply or develop data-mining techniques for model construction</li>
<li>A solid understanding of bioinformatics databases and software.</li>
<li>Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to work as a team member in a dynamic, fast paced biotech environment</li>
