Depends on the individual project. Generally ok but a lot of proprietary technologies which can block your development. Too much politics if you want to move/change positions internally

Used to feel like a supportive productive environment but now it’s super corporate with lots of red tape and horrible managers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I can’t think of the best part but I’ll tell you Workday likes to appear as an employee first company but they’re not. They’ve hired horrible managers from external non-tech companies and these horrible managers bring horrible corporate habits with them…and Workday culture has been changed forever.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Product Roadmap and priorities shifting constantly, add that to never having enough headcount to complete all of the work so it feels as if we’ll never reach our goals…and don’t forget to add the horrible managers!
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends on the team and office location. Some teams and office locations have a pleasant and productive work environment…it’s really down to which org you work in and if the management is good or not.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
They make you feel like you have a lot of autonomy but you really don’t…thanks horrible managers.

Best Workplace Ever

I love working at Workday! I would have never imagined such a company with heart existed prior to joining. I hope to stay here until I retire. Why? Because they actually care about their employees and prove this time and time again by their actions. They also want their employees to grow in their careers and are very encouraging of people moving around within the company. Even the leadership moves around, which is awesome for the prevention of silos.

Fun workplace with great people

I really enjoy the BDR role and having a multicultural workplace.
The benefits are really good and constantly improving.
It’s a good working environment but with a lot constant leadership changes it shifts more and more to an American approach in the sense of people becoming numbers.
Otherwise would recommend as a great opportunity to start in sales.

Micro-management and too much focus on the stock price.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Presents as very pleasant,independent and fun but is actually quite toxic and always get the feeling that eyes are on you. When you show initiative or say no you'll be punished.

Monitor queues and perform break/fix
