Toxic environment from the CEO down
|
A horrible place to work. Nobody was treated with respect or kindness unless there was press or someone from the outside in the office. CEO went through assistants like a pack of gum, chewed them up and spat them out.

WashingtonFirst Bank was a great small community bank which focused on local businesses and customers. I was an assistant manager for the downtown branch and loved it. Got to interact with personal and business clients and major league athletes in D.C.

One of the worst places I have ever worked
|
Horrible, full of herself, CEO who sold the bank at the first offer. Cliques galore. Used to be that working for a small bank insulated you somewhat from caustic corporate culture, not anymore. Second rate Loan Officers with second rate clients. That this Bank no longer exists is a blessing.

Ive enjoyed my time there. They are great starter bank. The gave us bonuses for working Saturday and the company meeting the CEO passes out a $100 bucks.
