Oppressive culture
|
Without doubt the worst business I have ever worked for, I can't wait to move on. Oppressive, unproductive, disorganised and political work environment.
Whilst implementing cost cutting measures they are attempting to put staff on indefinite suspension without pay. Probably in beach of contracts and tells you everything you need to know about the disrespect and contempt the management have for their employees.
They should feel embarrassed and ashamed by their actions.

Company decided to save money by firing 9 of us and giving our jobs to another company they purchased out of the US. Manager was not knowledgeable nor qualified to be in the that career field.

Benefits were good. Manager was not.

Most employees were hard working and knew their jobs and worked without supervision. Tended to buy engines without complete records. Bought another company in UK and farmed 9 peoples jobs to those people.

Unnecessarily oppressive culture, averse to any change or improvement. Bad processes, incompetent management, little to no tangible benefits, lip service, unimportant work, delusions of grandeur, arcaic HR policies and an impression that they're doing you a favour by letting you come in and work really hard for them.

The people are generally nice, occasionally the work is interesting, staff events
|

Willis Lease was a good company to work for in the beginning. The pay was very good. After a short time I learned why they paid so well. In my situation the pay was good so you couldn’t afford to get a different job. There were no advancement opportunities and after many years they fired an entire department and moved our jobs overseas.

Nice and quiet place to work
|
Productive quiet place to work, everybody mind their own except for queries. Most people do their work with less supervision and approachable. Communication mostly thru phones and email. You don't even notice there is boss in the office. Takes time to complete documentation specially heavy shop visit, aircraft or engine return. I will missed walking 15 to 20 minutes everyday with co worker, and funny stories during lunch, the yearly chrismas party where all employees from different department and part of the world meet.

Full grown adults tell on each other.

A true finance company.

Full use of Fireman's Fund campus (including gym, game room, locker rooms, pretty campus)
